Terms and conditions
Clear expectations.
Last updated: 1 September 2026
These terms govern your use of EasyTrades. EasyTrades is a trading name of Yellow Mango Consultancy Services LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09014055 (“EasyTrades”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Our registered office is Swift Accountants, 3 Chowley Court, Chowley Oak Business Park, Bolesworth Estates, United Kingdom, CH3 9GA.
By accessing EasyTrades, submitting a job, creating an account, publishing a trade profile, buying a lead or using EasyTrades through an approved API, OpenAI app, AI assistant or MCP client, you agree to these terms. If you use EasyTrades for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
1. What EasyTrades does
EasyTrades is an online marketplace that helps homeowners describe work and allows independent tradespeople and trade businesses to discover and purchase suitable opportunities. We qualify, organise and present information supplied by users, but we do not employ the tradespeople listed on the service and do not provide, supervise or guarantee the underlying trade work.
A contract for inspections, quotations or work is made directly between the homeowner and the tradesperson. EasyTrades is not a party to that contract and does not act as the agent of either party.
2. Who may use the service
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract. Trade accounts are for people acting wholly or mainly for business purposes. You must provide accurate, current information and keep access links and account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you promptly tell us it has been compromised.
3. Homeowner enquiries
Submitting a job is currently free and does not oblige you to hire anyone. You agree to provide honest, sufficiently detailed information, including the correct location, contact details, timing and known risks. You must not submit unlawful, misleading, abusive or duplicate enquiries, or enquiries for work you do not genuinely intend to consider.
We may use automated rules and artificial intelligence to classify and qualify your description. These tools assist with routing; they do not diagnose faults, assess safety or replace professional advice. For an immediate danger, suspected gas leak, fire, electrical hazard, crime or medical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified authority.
Your contact details remain hidden from general visitors. They are shared with a limited number of relevant tradespeople who choose to unlock the lead, as explained in our Privacy notice. This does not guarantee that a tradesperson will contact you, provide a quote or accept the work.
You may optionally upload job photos. You must have the right to share them and should avoid faces, children, number plates, documents, valuables, security arrangements, your full address or other unnecessary personal information. Job photos may be shown before purchase only to authenticated tradespeople whose selected services match the job, and remain available to trades that unlock it.
4. Choosing and engaging a tradesperson
Homeowners are responsible for deciding whom to engage. Before work starts, you should check identity, experience, qualifications, trade-body membership where relevant, insurance, references, availability, scope, price, payment stages, warranties and any permits or approvals required. Obtain important terms in writing.
Profiles, badges, reviews, estimates and other marketplace information are provided for convenience. Unless we expressly say otherwise, they are not an endorsement, guarantee, warranty or comprehensive background check by EasyTrades.
5. Trade accounts and free listings
Tradespeople must provide accurate business, identity, contact, trade, service-area and profile information. You may only claim qualifications, memberships, insurance, accreditations and experience that you genuinely hold and can evidence. You must promptly correct anything that becomes inaccurate.
A free listing does not guarantee ranking, visibility, enquiries or revenue. We may edit formatting, categorisation and presentation for clarity, moderate content, request evidence, decline or remove a listing, and suspend accounts where necessary to protect users or the service.
6. Leads and permitted use
A lead is an opportunity to contact a homeowner about a stated job. It is not a confirmed booking, exclusive instruction, promise of response or guarantee of paid work. More than one suitable tradesperson may be allowed to unlock the same lead; the maximum may vary and is controlled by the service.
When you unlock a lead, we grant your business a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the released details solely to assess and pursue that job. You must not resell, publish, enrich, scrape, combine into marketing lists or share lead information outside your business except where reasonably necessary for that job and lawful under data-protection rules.
You must contact homeowners professionally, identify your business, respect requests not to be contacted, use details only for the relevant enquiry and securely delete them when no longer needed. You are independently responsible for your compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and direct-marketing rules.
7. Lead prices and payment
The price shown before checkout is the price charged for unlocking that lead. Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and will state whether any applicable VAT is included. Payment is processed securely by Stripe and is subject to Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy practices. We do not store full card details.
A purchase is complete only after Stripe confirms successful payment and EasyTrades records the unlock. If the lead reaches its buyer limit before fulfilment completes, we will not provide the lead and will automatically attempt to refund the payment to the original payment method.
Trade users buy leads in the course of business. Except where required by law, payments are not refundable merely because a homeowner does not reply, chooses another trade, changes their mind, does not proceed, or the work does not result in a quotation or contract. Nothing in these terms limits any right to a refund where a lead was not delivered or a payment was taken in error. Contact us promptly with the lead reference and supporting details if you believe a charge is incorrect.
8. Quotes, work and payment between users
Tradespeople are solely responsible for assessing the job, agreeing scope and price, carrying out work with reasonable care and skill, complying with law and safety requirements, holding appropriate insurance and registrations, issuing invoices and dealing with taxes. Homeowners are responsible for providing safe, lawful access and paying sums properly agreed with the tradesperson.
Estimated job values shown by EasyTrades are indicative only. They are not quotations, valuations or price guarantees. The parties must agree the actual price independently.
9. Completion and reviews
A trade that has purchased a lead may ask the homeowner to confirm whether the job was completed and to leave a review. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience, be fair and lawful, and must not contain threats, harassment, confidential information or knowingly false claims. Tradespeople must not offer improper incentives, pressure users or submit reviews about themselves.
We may verify, delay, reject, remove or retain reviews and responses where reasonably necessary to investigate authenticity, comply with law or enforce these terms. We do not promise to publish every review and do not adopt a review as our own statement.
10. Acceptable use
You must not misuse EasyTrades, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls or lead limits, create false accounts, automate scraping, introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, discriminate unlawfully, harass another person, manipulate reviews or use the service for fraud or any unlawful purpose.
11. Content and intellectual property
EasyTrades and its software, branding, layout and original content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose. No other rights are transferred.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, format, moderate and display that content as reasonably needed to operate and secure EasyTrades. We will not use private job photos in advertising without separate permission. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit all descriptions and images and that they do not unlawfully infringe another person’s privacy or rights.
12. Availability and changes
We aim to keep EasyTrades reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, categories, coverage areas, prices or eligibility requirements. A price change will not alter a purchase already completed. We may update these terms and will publish the revised version and effective date; material changes may also be notified through the service.
13. AI assistants, OpenAI apps, API and MCP clients
Approved clients may use the EasyTrades API or Model Context Protocol service only through the tools and permissions we make available. Public tools are read-only unless clearly stated otherwise. Authenticated actions require a valid, authorised credential and remain the responsibility of the person or organisation directing the client.
You must review important information and confirm the intended target before relying on an AI-assisted action. AI-generated summaries and tool results may be incomplete or wrong and are not professional, legal, safety, pricing or trade advice. OpenAI and other client providers operate their own services and are not parties to homeowner–trade contracts, lead purchases or work arranged through EasyTrades.
You and any client acting for you must not:
- share credentials, exceed granted permissions, bypass rate limits or attempt raw database access;
- bulk harvest, scrape, re-identify or republish marketplace or homeowner information;
- fabricate supplier details, infer unpublished contact details or import a business without a genuine public source;
- describe an imported or unclaimed supplier as verified;
- expose private homeowner details or use job information outside the permitted marketplace purpose; or
- queue or send outreach without the necessary authority or contrary to suppression, opt-out and applicable direct-marketing rules.
We may log tool actions, restrict or revoke access, reject unsafe requests and require additional confirmation. Tool availability, schemas and limits may change. More information is available on our MCP page, in the developer documentation and from customer support.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using EasyTrades at any time. We may restrict, suspend or close an account, listing or enquiry where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, information is unsafe or misleading, payment is disputed, the service is being abused, or action is required by law. Provisions intended to survive termination—including payment, confidentiality, data use, intellectual property and liability provisions—will continue to apply.
15. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
For homeowners, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, advice, quotations or work of independent tradespeople, or for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by another user.
For trade users, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and liability for loss of profit, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, data or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total aggregate liability to a trade user arising from the service in any 12-month period will not exceed the greater of £100 and the lead fees that trade user paid to us during that period.
16. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. Essential cookies support security and sign-in. Optional analytics are used only in line with the cookie choice presented on the site.
17. General legal terms
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the service, provided this does not reduce consumer protections. These terms are between you and us; no other person may enforce them.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts applicable to where you live in the United Kingdom. If you use EasyTrades for business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Please contact us first so we have an opportunity to resolve a concern.
